Florida's Wild Edibles and Medicinal Plants – Vaill Point Park

Coronavirus Update: St. Johns County Parks Department has cancelled all events and programs at county parks through April 17, 2020. Most parks remain open, but all special programs are cancelled.
The St. Johns County Naturalist Program offers a free program on Wild Edibles and Medicinal Plants of Florida at Vaill Point Park on Friday, April 10, and Thursday, April 16, 2020. The April 10 event is from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m., and the April 16 event is from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.
The guided tour is presented by the County Naturalist and will explore the various edible and medicinal plants in the area. Participants will learn to identify the plants and discover how they are used. Please note that guests will not be allowed to eat or taste any plants on the walk.
Guests are advised to dress for the weather and bring a flashlight, bug spray, and water.
