Fort Matanzas Kayak Trips

This intermediate-level kayak trip explores the Tolomato River and Robinson Creek on Fort Mose.

  • The St. Johns County Naturalist Program and the National Park Service offers free guided kayak tours in the waters that surround Fort Matanzas over two long weekends in October 2018. The tours will be held from Thursday to Sunday, October 11 through 14 and October 25 through 28. Start times vary; see details below.

    The tours offer participants a whole new perspective of Fort Matanzas as they paddle along the marsh to experience the Southeast Intracoastal Waterway Park. Seats are limited, so please visit here to make a registration.
