Gamble Rogers Concert Series: Acoustic Eidolon

On Saturday, February 10, 2018, Gamble Rogers Concert Series presents Acoustic Eidolon at the St. Augustine Art Association.

Joe and Hannah, experienced Boulder-based musicians, got together on a snowy February day in 1998. Joe plays guitar, double-necked guitar, and a double-necked guitjo, which as the name implies, is a hybrid between a guitar and banjo (with two necks). Hannah plays cello. It was the enticing and experimental possibilities presented by accompanying the guitjo with the cello that brought the two together. Not only is their sound wedded in instrumental virtuosic bliss, the couple is married as well. Their passion for each other resonates through their unique and vibrant live performances.
