On Sunday, February 21, 2016, Ponte Vedra Concert Hall presents Gary Clark, Jr.
The Austin, Texas guitarist was born to make music, and his influences range from BB King, Miles Davis, and Marvin Gaye to Biggie, Tupac, and Michael Jackson. His virtuoso guitar skills had him onstage as a teenager with the likes of Jimmie Vaughn, Hubert Sumlin, and Pinetop Perkins. For the last five years, Clark has been tearing up the festival scene and garnering masses of fans every single day with his swampy, succulent blues rock. Some famous admirers include the likes of Barack Obama, Keith Richards, Alicia Keys, and Beyonce.
Clark comes to Ponte Vedra to promote his latest release, The Story of Sonny Boy Slim.
