HipHarp for the Arts

The Cultural Center of Ponte Vedra hosts a fundraiser and concert with electric harpist Deborah Henson-Conant.

Please Note: This event is from 2015

The Cultural Center at Ponte Vedra presents HipHarp for the Arts, a concert benefitting music therapy for children with special needs. The concert will take place at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall on Saturday, October 17, 2015. A VIP cocktail reception will precede the concert.

GRAMMY-nominated artist Deborah Henson-Conant incorporates music, movement, and theater into every memorable performance. She is a one-woman show, with a custom-designed 32-string electric harp strapped to her body and her enthusiasm is contagious.

The concert is a fundraiser for The Cultural Center at Ponte Vedra's outreach program, Music Therapy for Children with Special Needs. For nine years, this non-profit organization has used music to help advance the development of children with autism, Down's syndrome, muscular dystrophy, and cerebral palsy. Proceeds of the concert will provide the funds necessary for the organization's music therapist and class supplies to continue through 2017.

Admission: Tickets are $100 each for Cultural Center members, $110 for non-members, or $1000 for tables of eight. All tickets include the VIP Cocktail Reception as well as the concert. Tickets are available for purchase by visiting here.

When? Saturday, October 17, 2015: The VIP Cocktail Reception begins at 6 p.m., and the concert starts at 7:30 p.m.

Where? The Ponte Vedra Concert Hall is located at 1050 A1A North in Ponte Vedra Beach.
