The Ponte Vedra Concert Hall presents roots-reggae musician Julian Marley and the Uprising in a live concert on Friday, October 25, 2019.

The son of Bob Marley and Barbados-born Lucy Pounder, Julian Marley grew up with music all around him. He has been nominated for numerous Grammy awards for his work as a musician, singer-songwriter, producer, and humanitarian.

Growing up in Jamaica, Julian studied with such legendary reggae veterans as Aston "Family Man" Barrett, Carlton Barrett, Earl "Wire" Lindo, Tyrone Downie, and Earl "Chinna" Smith. His debut album, Lion in the Morning, was released in 1996. In 2009, his career took off with the release of his album, Awake, followed by a worldwide tour.

Admission: General admission tickets are $28.00 if purchased in advance and $32.00 if purchased on the day of the show.

When: Friday, October 26, 2019, at 8:00 p.m. Doors open at 7:00 p.m.

Where: The Ponte Vedra Concert Hall is located at 1050 A1A North in Ponte Vedra Beach.

Parking Information: Parking will be available onsite. There will be a $5 parking fee for ticketed events and for free events parking will also be free. For events not produced by the St. Johns County Cultural Events Division, parking fees will be at the discretion of the event producer.
