Friends of the A1A Scenic & Historic Coastal Byway will present a special program for young nature lovers on Friday, May 12, 2017, at Anastasia State Park. Kids Ocean Day and Environmental Education Fair will be full of fun activities, where kids can learn more about the importance of environmental preservation.

The event will feature nature walks and tips on how to identify wildlife, such as manatees and many varieties of fish and birds. Exhibitors this year will include Guana Tolomato Matanzas National Estuarine Research Reserve, Save the Manatee Club, Georgia Aquarium Conservation Field Station, Anastasia State Park, Adam Morley and the Litter Gitter, Flagler County Audubon Society, and the St. Johns County Environmental & Habitat Conservation Team.

Admission: The program is free with regular park admission: $8 per vehicle with up to 8 people, $4 per vehicle with one occupant, and $2 for pedestrians/bicyclists.

When: Friday, May 12, 2017, from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon.

Where: Anastasia State Park is located at 300 Anastasia Park Road in St. Augustine, FL 32080.
