Leftover Salmon in Concert

The Ponte Vedra Concert Hall proudly presents the unique bluegrass/jam band fusion Leftover Salmon on Thursday, November 5, 2015.

Formed in 1989, Leftover Salmon changed the rock scene with their aggressive bluegrass and jam band influences. The Colorado slamgrass pioneers have been described as the unwitting architects of their sound. Today, the band consists of Vince Herman (vocals, acoustic guitar, washboard); Drew Emmitt (vocals, acoustic and electric mandolin, electric guitar, fiddle); Andy Thorn (vocals, acoustic and electric banjo); Greg Garrison (vocals, acoustic and electric bass); Alwyn Robinson (drums); Bill Payne (vocals, keyboards).

The determination of co-founders Emmitt, Herman, and the late Mark Vann, brought this group together. In spite of Vann's death, the group continues to produce new music in memory of their departed co-founder. The group took a short hiatus at the end of 2004, but, in the summer of 2007, the band was eager to get back to touring.

Their latest offering, High Country, is a 12-song, rock/country/bluegrass/blues affair that has received critical acclaim. Leftover Salmon's fearlessness and determination will certainly provide a invigorating show for Ponte Vedra Concert Hall attendees.

Parking Information: Parking is available onsite for events at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall. For ticketed events, parking will be $5.00, for free events parking will be free. For events not produced by the St. Johns County Cultural Events Division, parking fees will be at the discretion of the event producer.
