Lightner Learning Lab: All About Sculpture

The Lightner Museum presents a Lightner Learning Lab for children ages 5 through 14 that focuses on sculpture on Sunday, February 10, 2019.

There will be two "All About Sculpture" sessions. The first session, for "Little Lightners," is designed for children ages 5 through 9, and will be held from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. The second session is part of the Lightner Learners program geared for older kids ages 10 to 14, and will be held from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m.

Both sessions will offer kids a deeper understanding of three-dimensional art through looking at and studying selected figurative sculptures with Lightner Museum educators. Each tour will be followed by a model-making activity.

Admission: Tickets are $5.00 and reservations are required. Visit here to make reservations.

When: Sunday, February 10, 2019. The first session (for kids ages 5 to 9) is from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. The second session (for kids ages 2:00 to 3:00 p.m.) is from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m.
