Mammos Matter: 2nd Annual Offshore Charity Fishing Tournament
(989) 289 - 9555 Cancer survivor, Deb Buehner has teamed up with Pink Up The Pace, and Sea Love Charters to host the 2nd Annual Womens' Offshore Charity Fishing Tournament on Saturday, October 22, 2022. Located at the Cat's Paw Marina at 220 Nix Boat Yard Road from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., the fundraiser is dedicated to women in St. Augustine who are uninsured or need extra assistance in receiving a mammogram. The night prior to the event, on Friday, October 21, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., a captain's meeting with dinner and drinks will be held at St. Augustine Fish House and Oyster Company, at 160 Nix Boat Yard Rd.
Deb Buehner began the fundraiser one year ago. Inspired by her own battle with cancer, Buehner now reaches out to other women in her community by offering the support they need in order to take the steps that contribute to the prevention of cancer.
Early registration from September 1, 2022, to October 1, 2022, is $175.00 per individual. From October 2 to October 22, the cost is $225.00 per individual. Tickets include a day pass of fishing on the Sea Love II while competing to win a bag of goodies and cash prizes. Please register to sponsor a team and receive a t-shirt and all promotional materials, company logo on the Mammos Matter website, free team registration for the tournament, a framed certificate of sponsorship, and a receipt of charitable donation.
The event begins with a captain's meeting — dinner and drinks — at St. Augustine Fish House and Oyster Company, located at 160 Nix Boat Yard Road on Friday, October 21, 2022, between 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
