Marty Stuart and His Fabulous Superlatives
On Thursday, January 25, 2018, Ponte Vedra Concert Hall presents Marty Stuart and His Fabulous Superlatives.
Stuart, the Mississippi-born superstar, got his start in country music as a teenager playing mandolin for the legendary Lester Flatt. The five-time GRAMMY award-winner is coming to Ponte Vedra to promote their new album, Way Out West.
His masterful command of honky-tonk Americana helped propelled him to stardom, but Marty Stuart’s grounding in gospel, traditional country, and rock n’ roll have made him one of the most dynamic performers to enter a Nashville recording studio. Stuart’s depth and dynamism led to him forming the Fabulous Superlatives as his permanent accompanying band. The new album is a creative work that embodies the spirit of the American West.
