On Friday, October 28, 2016, The Minneapolis Sound will take the stage at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall to perform a tribute concert to beloved entertainer and songwriter, Prince.

The Minneapolis Sound is comprised of ten musicians, all of whom come from very different backgrounds and walks of life, but share a strong love for Prince's music. The band includes Billy Buchanan on lead vocals and guitar, Michael Mangaroo on lead guitar, Chris Williams, Sydney Buchanan, Tom Sells, Austin Davis, Tamara Sells, MJ Baker, Troi Buchanan, and Hector Vazquez.

The band's frontman, Billy Buchanan, credits Prince for his interest in learning to play the guitar, citing the "Little Red Corvette" video as his inspiration. His musical career now spans two decades, and he has released five solo albums, as well as two albums with his former band, Fusebox.

When: POSTPONED to Friday, October 28, 2016. The gates open at 7 p.m. The show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets purchased for the original show date of October 7, 2016, will be honored.

Where: The Ponte Vedra Concert Hall is located at 1050 A1A North in Ponte Vedra Beach.

Parking Information: Parking will be available onsite. There will be a $5 parking fee for ticketed events and for free events parking will also be free. For events not produced by the St. Johns County Cultural Events Division, parking fees will be at the discretion of the event producer.
