Coronavirus Update: The State of Florida Parks Department has cancelled all events and programs at state parks. The parks remain open (on a limited schedule, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. only), but all special programs are cancelled.

Washington Oaks Gardens State Park presents Music in the Gardens on Sunday, March 22, 2020, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., featuring local favorite Billy Buchanan, "the ambassador of rock 'n' soul."

Guests can enjoy the formal gardens of this unique state park while enjoying the music, along with beer, wine and snacks for purchase. Feel free to bring a chair or blanket to the concert.

Washington Oaks Gardens State Park is 425 acres of coastal preserve that ranges from rare coquina rock formations along the Atlantic to the tidal marshes of the Matanzas River and the historic formal gardens within the live oaks, magnolias, and coastal scrub of the beachside hammock.

Admission: The suggested donation for the concert is $10.00. Park admission is $5.00 per vehicle with up to 8 people, $4.00 per vehicle with one person, and $2.00 for pedestrians and bicyclists.

When: Sunday, March 22, 2020, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.

Where: Washington Oaks Gardens State Park is located two miles south of Marineland off A1A South, at 6400 N. Oceanshore Blvd. in Palm Coast FL 32137.

Events like this are offered by the Friends of Washington Oaks Gardens State Park, a community-based not-for-profit organization whose mission is to preserve, protect, promote, and provide interpretation at Washington Oaks Gardens and Faver-Dykes State Park.
