ODESZA will come to Cafe Eleven on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 to perform their electronic pop beats. Electronic bands Kodak To Graph and LeGinge will join ODESZA to provide their audience an enthralling, invigorating night.
ODESZA includes two group members:Harrison Mills (Catacombkid) and Clayton Knight (BeachesBeaches), both graduates of Western Washington University. In 2012, the group began their first recording project together in Seattle. Summer's Gone, their first album, included glitched out vocals, rhythmic songs, and beautiful melodies. Two tracks from the album reached number one on the Hype Machine Popular Chart, marking a definite success of the duo and a new-found fan base.
In 2013 the group released the EP My Friends Never Die, and once again hit number one on the Hype Machine Popular Chart-this time with the three songs at number one. ODESZA's remix of "One Day They'll Know" rose to number eight on the iTunes Electronic Chart. Following the release of the album, the duo went on countless tours, including the Sasquatch Music Festival, What The Festival, The Capitol Hill Block Party, and many others. ODESZA's popularity has grown rapidly since their formation, and led to 4.7 million streams on SoundCloud.
Kodak To Graph's Michael Maleki creates tracks that are filled with flower-trailed soundscapes, nostalgic tones, and propulsive rhythms. Kodak To Graph will tour alongside ODESZA throughout different parts of Florida, stopping by Cafe Eleven in St. Augustine.
LeGinge fuses unique vintage style and intricate beats into current popular songs, forming remixes that are detailed and incredibly interesting. From St.Augustine, Florida mixer Peyton Leginge performs in various concerts and tours across Florida.
