    The Ponte Vedra Concert Hall will present jazz virtuoso guitarist Pat Metheny with his new playing environment, "Side Eye," in a live concert with newcomers James Francies and Nate Smith on Tuesday, April 9, 2019.

    With a stellar career under his belt (20 Grammy awards, three gold records, and countless “best jazz guitarist” awards from the music community), Pat Metheny is debuting a new playing environment he calls “Side Eye” for this touring season. He will be using the platform as a way to introduce “new and upcoming musicians who have caught my interest along the way.”

    Acclaim for Pat Metheny has included winning seven consecutive Grammies for seven consecutive albums and being inducted into the Downbeat Hall of Fame as only the fourth guitarist to be included (along with Django Reinhardt, Charlie Christian, and Wes Montgomery).

    Admission: Tickets are $114.50 for Rows A through D, $79.50 for Rows E through M, and $59.50 for Rows N through T.

    When: Tuesday, April 9, 2019, at 8:00 p.m. Doors open at 7:00 p.m.

    Where: The Ponte Vedra Concert Hall is located at 1050 A1A North in Ponte Vedra Beach.

    Parking Information: Parking will be available onsite. There will be a $5 parking fee for ticketed events and for free events parking will also be free. For events not produced by the St. Johns County Cultural Events Division, parking fees will be at the discretion of the event producer.
