
Ponte Vedra Concert Hall will welcome the return of rock luminaries The Psychedelic Furs on Sunday, October 31.
Founded in London in 1977, The Psychedelic Furs have gone through numerous phases including an initial austere art rock sound. Later, the band, led by brothers Richard (singer) and Tim (bass guitar) Butler, the band later touched on sounds that range from new wave and hard rock.
Achieving success in their early career, filmmaker John Hughes used their song "Pretty in Pink" for a film by the same name in 1986, the Psychedelic Furs had become staples on U.S. college radio and modern rock stations by the mid-1980s.
After their 1992 and returned to the stage in 2000. In July 2020, the band released Made of Rain, their first studio album in nearly three decades.
The bands current line-up includes Richard and Tim Butler, Mars Williams (saxophone), Rich Good (guitar), Paul Garisto (drums) and Amanda Kramer (keyboards).
