Throughout the downtown historic district

Starting on Monday, Oct. 5, 2015, Ripley's St. Augustine Attractions will once again present the Great Skeleton Scavenger Hunt. Visitors and locals alike are invited to find the 11 themed skeletons that will be strategically placed throughout St. Augustine's historic district, all of them visible from the road and near the Red Train route. Once they find a skeleton, participants can take a snapshot and upload the photo to Ripley's Facebook page for a chance to win some great prizes.

The skeletons will be hanging around in local businesses, and participants must find all 11 of them to be eligible to win prizes. This year's prizes include a $200 gift card and a family four-pack of tickets to Ripley's St. Augustine attractions. There will be also be runner-up prizes of $100 each, and "fun factor" bonus points are given to especially creative photos.

It is not necessary to purchase a ticket for the Red Trains or any of the other Ripley's attractions in town. Winners will be announced at 5:00 p.m. at the Halloween Trick or Treat Train event at Ripley's Believe It or Not! Museum on Halloween night, October 31, 2015.

Admission: No purchase is necessary to enter.

When? Throughout the month of October. Prizes will be awarded at 5 p.m. on October 31 at the Halloween Trick or Treat Train event on October 31, 2015.

Where? The 11 skeletons will be placed in local businesses, all of them along the Red Train route and plainly visible from the street. The prizes will be awarded at Ripley's Believe It or Not! Museum, which is located at 19 San Marco Ave.
