The Ponte Vedra Concert Hall presents the soulful folk and world stylings of Rising Appalachia with special guest Raye Zaragoza on Thursday, January 16, 2020.

Rising Appalachia blends poetry, narrative, and soul to educate, inspire, and entertain audiences worldwide. The group has traveled the world for nearly two decades, and are touring now in support of their new folk album, Leylines, in which they add their own Southern roots to their well-known global sound.

The band consists of troubadour sisters Leah and Chloe Smith, as well as Biko Casini on percussion, David Brown on bass and guitar, and two new members: West African musician Arouna Diarra (n'goni, talking drum) and Irish musician Duncan Wickel (fiddle, cello).

Admission: General Admission Standing Room tickets are $25.00 if purchased in advance and $28.00 if purchased on the day of the show.

When: Thursday, January 16, 2020, at 8:00 p.m. Doors open at 7:00 p.m.

Where: The Ponte Vedra Concert Hall is located at 1050 A1A North in Ponte Vedra Beach.

Parking Information: Parking will be available onsite. There will be a $5 parking fee for ticketed events and for free events parking will also be free. For events not produced by the St. Johns County Cultural Events Division, parking fees will be at the discretion of the event producer.
