Romanza Festivale: Lisa Lockhart & Friends

Ancient City Baptist Church is one block behind the Witty Whisker Cat Cafe.

For the fifth consecutive time, soprano Lisa Lockhart will perform and direct a special headliner concert for Romanza Festivale. This year, on May 3, 2024, at 7:30 p.m., she will be joined by three other opera singers in "Duetti Deliziosi," or "Delicious Duets."

Ms. Lockhart has performed in musical theatre, opera, and on concert stages in Europe and across the U.S. She has a degree from the Boston Conservatory of Music, has a vocal studio in St. Augustine, and is an adjunct vocal instructor at Florida State College in Jacksonville. She has served as music director for the Limelight Theatre and is often invited to produce and direct musical productions.

She will be joined by Dirk Gavin McCoy, baritone; Emily Heumann, mezzo-soprano; and Jack G. Sumrall, III, tenor. Ted Munn, Director of Music and Worship at Avondale United Methodist Church, will accompany the singers on piano.

This event is part of the Romanza Festivale of Music and the Arts, an annual festival of two weeks of historical, cultural, and creative events celebrating all things St. Augustine.
