Romanza presents a concert featuring the guitar, with Dr. Jonathan Dotson and the St. Johns County Center for the Arts (SJCCA) Guitar Ensemble, on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at 7:30 p.m. in the Waterworks.

The Concert

The evening begins with Dr. Jonathan Dotson presenting a program that spans 450 years, featuring Spanish classical guitar music and chamber music. Afterward, he conducts the SJCCA Classical Guitar Ensemble, a group of young musicians from St. Augustine High School. This is the first high school classical guitar ensemble in the United States.

Getting There: Access to the Waterworks is through the St. Augustine Main Library parking lot. (Use 1960 North Ponce de Leon Boulevard in your GPS.)
