Shawn Colvin: Steady on 32nd Anniversary Tour

This concert was originally scheduled for April 24, 2020, but had to be postponed due to the coronavirus emergency. It has been rescheduled February 5, 2022.

The Ponte Vedra Concert Hall, in partnership with Flying Saucer Presents, welcomes contemporary folk artist Shawn Colvin back the Concert Hall on her "Steady On" 30th Anniversary Tour. She will perform in a live concert on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at 8:00 p.m.

Contemporary folk arts Shawn Colvin is know for music that is characterized by her wit, lyricism, and empathy. She began playing the guitar at the age of 10. In the late 1970s, producer John Leventhal encouraged her to develop her own voice as a songwriter. Soon after, she landed a record deal with Columbia Records. Her debut album Steady On won a GRAMMY Award for Best Contemporary Folk Recording. Colvin's 1996 album, A Few Small Repairs received two GRAMMY awards: Record of the Year and Song of the Year.

In June 2016, Shawn Colvin and Steve Earle united to release Colvin & Earle, their acclaimed self-titled duo album. This album showcases the relationship between the two longtime friends and stands out as a high point in both their careers.

To commemorate the 30th anniversary of the release of her debut album, she has recorded a solo acoustic version of that landmark release, entitled Steady On Acoustic. At this concert, she will perform the new album in its entirety.

Admission: Tickets prices range from $39.00 to $63.00. A special VIP Meet and Greet package is available (with a private preshow and merchandise) for $145.00.

Parking Information: Parking will be available onsite. There will be a $5 parking fee for ticketed events and for free events parking will also be free. For events not produced by the St. Johns County Cultural Events Division, parking fees will be at the discretion of the event producer.
