The Ponte Vedra Concert Hall presents Grammy-nominated prodigy folk singer-songwriter Sierra Hull in concert on Saturday, February 17, 2018.
Sierra Hull signed with Rounder at age 13 and was the first bluegrass musician to be awarded a Presidential Scholarship to attend Berklee College of Music.
Best known for her skills as a mandolin player, Sierra Hull’s talent for songwriting and singing are becoming more evident, especially in her most recent album, Weighted Mind, which was released in 2016 and was nominated for a Grammy for “Best Folk Album” in 2017. She is supported on that album by Ethan Jodziewicz on bass and Béla Fleck on banjo, with harmonies added by Alison Krauss, Abigail Washburn, and Rhiannon Giddens.
