The St. Augustine Community Chorus will perform from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday, May 14, 2022, at the Ancient City Baptist Church in historic downtown St. Augustine.

The St. Augustine Community Chorus will be accompanied by chamber orchestra to bring audiences Emerging Light, a concert featuring works from Parts 2 and 3 of Handel's Messiah— a journey through the passion to redemption. As the earth emerges to the light in spring, so will the spirits of the listeners as they experience not only the works of Handel, but also the compositions of more contemporary composers.

Mike Sanflippo is the conductor of the St; Augustine Community Chorus.

Admission: Tickets are $25 for adults; $12 ages 11-17, and $5 for active duty military.

When: 7 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday, May 14, 2022.

Where: The Ancient City Baptist Church is located at 27 Sevilla St. in historic downtown.
