The St. Augustine Film Society presents a showing of the classic spooky house film, "The Old Dark House," just in time for Halloween this year. The showing will take place at Temple Bet Yam from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 27, 2019.

"The Old Dark House" is the film all other scary house films borrow on, complete with a storm, a creepy butler, and an old Maria Ouspenskaya look alike. Starring Boris Karloff, Melvyn Douglas, Charles Laughton, Raymond Massey, and Gloria Stuart, the film was produced in 1932 and remastered in 2017.

Guests are encouraged to wear costumes. Donations are welcome.

Admission: Free, but donations to the St. Augustine Film Society are welcome.

When: From 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 27, 2019.

Where: Temple Bet Yam is located at 2055 Wildwood Drive, in St. Augustine, FL 32086.
