Stanley Clarke Band
Jazz great Stanley Clarke will perform at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall.
The Ponte Vedra Concert Hall will host renowned jazz bassist Stanley Clarke on Friday, December 2, 2016.
Stanley Clarke has attained "living legend" status as a bass virtuoso over his 40-year career. He has played with jazz greats like Art Blakey, Joe Henderson, Stan Getz, and Chick Corea. Clarke is the first bassist in history who doubles on acoustic and electric bass.
The Philadelphia-born artist has been honored with Bass Player Magazine's Lifetime Achievement Award and is a member of Guitar Player Magazine's "Gallery of Greats." He received the Miles Davis Award at the Montreal Jazz Festival for his entire body of work.
Clarke will be performing with Mike Mitchell on drums, Beka Gochiashvili on piano and keyboards, and Cameron Grays on keyboards.
Admission: Reserved seating ticket prices are $63 for the first 11 rows and $53 for all remaining rows.
When: Friday, December 2, 2016, at 8 p.m. Gates open at 7 p.m.
Where: The Ponte Vedra Concert Hall is located at 1050 A1A North in Ponte Vedra Beach.
Parking Information: Parking will be available onsite. There will be a $5 parking fee for ticketed events and for free events parking will also be free. For events not produced by the St. Johns County Cultural Events Division, parking fees will be at the discretion of the event producer.
