Steve Earle and the Dukes with special guest The Mastersons

The Ponte Vedra Concert Hall presents Steve Earle and the Dukes with special guest, The Mastersons, on Thursday, May 21, 2015, at 8:00 p.m.

Steve Earle began his music career as a songwriter, with many of his songs recorded by industry legends like Johnny Cash and Willie Nelson. In the mid-eighties, Earle released Guitar Town, his debut album which became the #1 album on the Country charts. His sound evolved over the next few decades as he dabbled in country, rock'n'roll, and folk. His sixteenth studio album, Terraplan,  was released this year. With strong influences from the sounds and rhythms of the blues, Terraplan remains at the # 1 spot on the Blues and Americana charts. Earle's hit singles include "What'll You Do About Me" and "A Little Bit in Love."

Austin-based Chris Masterson (vocals and guitar)and Eleanor Whitmore (vocals, violin, and guitar) are a husband-and-wife duo with a winning combination of songcraft and charm. Their 2012 debut album, Birds Fly South, was lauded by critics. Their best known single is "One More Word."

Parking Information: Parking will be available onsite. There will be a $5 parking fee for ticketed events and for free events parking will also be free. For events not produced by the St. Johns County Cultural Events Division, parking fees will be at the discretion of the event producer.
