The Ponte Vedra Concert Hall presents Suzanne Vega in concert on Friday, October 16, 2015, at 8:00 p.m.

Suzanne Vega was one of the leading figures of the folk music revival of the 1980s, a fact solidified by her critically acclaimed debut album Suzanne Vega. Rolling Stone listed her song, "Marlene on the Wall," as one of their "100 Greatest Recordings of the 1980s."

Vega has given sold-out shows in concert halls all over the world. Her distinctive vibrato-less voice expresses the deep emotions of her songs to the audience. Her 1987 album, Solitude Standing, was #11 in the United States and went platinum. In 2007, Vega's album Beauty & Crime won a GRAMMY for Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical. Some of her notable singles are "Luka" and "Tom's Diner."
