On the first and third Saturdays of the month in 2015, the Fountain of Youth hosts special demonstrations by Cherokee Native historians from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.

The informal demonstrations show how the southeastern Cherokee nation interacted with the Timucua tribe, who were the original residents in the St. Augustine area for centuries before the arrival of the Europeans.

The Fountain of Youth offers several interactive areas and exhibits staffed by professional re-enactors and historians, including the recreated Timucuan village of Seloy, where living-history interpreters show visitors what daily life was like for the Timucua who lived here.

Admission: The Cherokee Demonstrations are free with Fountain of Youth admission, which is $15 for adults (ages 13 - 59); $14 for seniors (60+); $9 for children (ages 6 - 12); and free for toddlers (ages 5 and under).

When? The first and third Saturday of each month in 2015, from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Where? The Cherokee demonstrations take place in the reconstructed Timucuan village of Seloy at the Fountain of Youth, at 11 Magnolia Ave. in St. Augustine.
