This showcase exhibit of the work of artists participating in St. Augustine's Plein Air Paint Out also marks the beginning of the Romanza Festivale of the Arts.

  • The St. Augustine Art Association presents "Where Art Meets History," a juried exhibit of original works of art painted right here in St. Augustine during the 3rd Annual Plein Air Paint Out event in late April.

    This year's Paint Out event and the resulting exhibit celebrate the remarkable history of St. Augustine, with artists choosing landmarks, buildings, open spaces, and cityscapes that best represent that history.

    The opening reception will be from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. during the First Friday Art Walk, on May 3, 2019.

    "Where Art Meets History" is part of the Romanza Festivale of Music and the Arts. The exhibit will run through Sunday, May 26, 2019.

    Admission: Free.

    When: The opening will be from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. on May 3, and the exhibit will run through May 26, 2019. The St. Augustine Art Association is open from 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Sundays, and is closed on Mondays.

    Where: The St. Augustine Art Association is located at 22 Marine Street in downtown St. Augustine.
