To celebrate the Juneteenth weekend, the St. Johns Cultural Council hosts an evening of dinner and entertainment on Sunday, June 21, from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m., at the St. Augustine Waterworks.

Dinner
Chef Kalin Anderson prepares a special soul food Sunday Supper, served family-style. From Jacksonville, Chef Kalin's Feed the Ville creates special pop-up menus for events in Northeast Florida. On June 21, the curated menu includes salad, main protein dishes, and sides:
- Green Goddess salad with locally-made bread
- Cajun BBQ shrimp 'n grits
- Marinated 7-hour pot roast
- Signature fried drums
- Collard greens with smoked turkey
- Chilled black-eyed pea salad
- Garlic herbed rice
- Signature white cheddar mac with chip crumble
- Candied yam cheesecake for dessert
Entertainment
Poet, writer, and performer Ebony Payne-English recently stayed in Zora's Sojourn, Zora's former St. Augustine home, and wrote poems inspired by that visit. She reads her original work during this event.
Danielle Torry, an artist and owner of ArtBox Gallery, creates a painting during this event.
Pianist Aramis Stone performs classical music.
