She has wowed Jacksonville audiences with her vocals, Latin beat, and Merengue moves.

Awilda Quezada moved to the U.S. in 2019 and built a successful career on the foundation she started in the Dominican Republic, where she was a singer and a professional dancer.

Awilda specializes in Latin dances, of which the merengue is a favorite. The merengue is the national dance of the Dominican Republic, and while it is most often danced with a partner, Awilda performs it solo, teaching the steps to her audience while she sings. In the States, Awilda performs with a backing track, sometimes with one or two percussionists on stage to add a stronger beat.

His work includes views of the blooms against various backgrounds, held in a hand, and close-up photos revealing the intricate detail of the plant's textures.
