Visiting St. Augustine while on tour, singer/songwriter Tavana writes and performs rock and blues originals with a vibe from the Hawaiian Islands.

This talented multi-instrumentalist performs on ukulele, lap steel guitar, or guitar while laying down a beat with his feet. HIs original songs are definitely centered in the rock or blues genres and also definitely carry the flavor and intonations of the Hawaiian Islands. 

The Springfield family took the opportunity of retirement and turned it into a beautiful suite of tunes which they offer to folks around St. Augustine on a regular basis.  Playing Americana, Bluegrass and Old-Time music, with a few original songs thrown in, ("You're Already My Wife" will melt your heart.)

Doug Spears was born in Florida's Lake County, got his first guitar when he was 12, and began writing songs shortly after. His songs, stories, and poems all feature the land and people of Florida, from times past to present day. 

Bo Baseman, originally from Maryland, has made his home in St. Augustine for years and has been a fixture on the local music scene for as long as he's been here.

This versatile musician sings and plays keyboards, guitar, piano, and percussion (among other instruments.) Long-time married, Bo has performed often with his wife, Debbie performing on vocals and percussion. Now, Bo is known for playing piano and singing in various establishments in St. Augustine. For years, Bo performed weekly at the now defunct Centro on King Street.

Alex Lacy, a newcomer to the St. Augustine music scene, is from South Florida where he was known as an outstanding young musician. Now, a talented singer/songwriter, Alex is a music student at the University of Florida and skillful on a number of instruments. 

When not performing his own material, he can often be heard playing blues guitar or saxophone. His own songs have an Indie/folk vibe with vocals and lyrics as sweet as the sound of his guitar.

Guitarist and vocalist Trey Brewer is instrumental in a number of acts here in St. Augustine, all of whom have Trey as the common denominator. 

The duo act, often called "Committee Lite" and also known simply as Brewer and Miller, consists of Trey and vocalist and guitarist J.B. Miller, who also performs with Trey in the groups Committee and Amerockana. 

As Brewer and Miller, "Committee Lite" can be frequently found in venues where folks love to listen to a wide variety of music, played well and with joy by two good friends. 

Lin Doak (aka Little Ozzy) and his stepson Johnny Lawrence frequently perform around St. Augustine as God's City Duo.

Lin and Johnny both sing and play the guitar, while Johnny is known as much for his lead guitar and strong solos. Both perform nationally in the Little Ozzy group, a tribute to Ozzy Osbourne. Johnny also writes music and fronts his band, Cradle. 

As God's City Duo, they perform contemporary hits and classic rock — with a bit of a softer, gentler version of some of their favorite songs by Ozzy Osbourne.

Mudtown, based on Jacksonville, blends elements of rock and bluegrass (hillbilly) and tosses in punk to create a beat-driven sound.

They perform in Northeast Florida, Carolina, and beyond -- wherever the audience wants to stomp and hoot. Their working-class music includes elements of folk, bluegrass, and hillbilly overlaid with punk for an unpolished sound that conveys sorrow, hard work, effort, and the right to party.

The sound of Jackie Stranger is pure Americana; combining folk, soul, country and indie influences, Stranger's show is a unique presentation of his own tunes, along with covers of favorites.
