Bar Citra
A neighborhood coffee and wine bar that serves unique, seasonal fare.
Bar Citra is located inside the CITRA Market, where an area of vacation rentals and a hair salon reside. This intimate space specializes in a curated collection of natural wines, coffees/teas, craft beer, artisanal pastries, and seasonal plates.
Try one of their traditional coffees or house favorites, such as the salted tahini latte, honey fig latte, and the cardamom cortado. Various teas are served—black, green, and herbal. These flavors range from matcha and spiced chai to hibiscus blend and chamomile.
Brunch is available from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with featured options of Pretty Toast (sourdough, ricotta lime whip, jam, and honey), Spanish Tortilla (traditional omelette), Caesar Salad, and the Polenta Bowl (creamy polenta, egg, veggies, cheese, and avocado).
Order from a rotating menu and try one of the small bites or starters: bread and butter, deviled eggs, a cheese plate, and olives. Entrees include ricotta dumplings, shrimp cocktail, pizza, roasted veggies, and a focaccia sandwich. The kitchen also uses housemade sourdough that's baked fresh daily.
A bottle shop is on-site, so you can take home your favorites. Join their Wine Club and get three hand-picked bottles each month.
They host Tuesday Night Wines from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., where free tastings of two selected bottles are offered. Happy Hour is Thursday through Saturday, 3:00 to 6:00 p.m.
