Purple Olive Catering Company builds upon the tasty reputation of their former business, Purple Olive Bistro.  

Chef Peter Kenney had worked in restaurants since he was 15 (most of them in St. Augustine), when he and his wife, Deidre opened Purple Onion in 2004. Their shared skills worked to create a stylish and casual restaurant featuring a unique menu that highlights Kenney's culinary talents.

Known for homemade soups, sauces, and dressings, as well as mouth-watering desserts, Purple Olive has created popular main dishes, salads, and starters and has become known for preparing vegetarian and gluten-free options. Menu items have included lamb, shellfish, finned fish, chicken, tofu, and beef. All are creatively and expertly prepared and presented to tempt palates. The desserts, including three gluten-free options, also tease the eye and delight the taste buds.

The Purple Olive Catering Company has an extensive catering menu and is available to cater parties, celebrations, and weddings. In addition, they remain in their present location at 4255 A1A South on Anastasia Island and the space is available as an event venue and for special tasting dinners hosted by the Purple Olive Catering Company.
