Please Note: This event is from 2021

The St. Augustine Amphitheatre presents the Allman Betts Band on Saturday, February 6. Doors open at 7:00pm and the concert starts at 8:30 p.m.

The seven members of the Allman Betts Band first performed together in 2019 when recording their first album, "Down to the River." In just a year, they released their second and highly acclaimed album, "Bless Your Heart." This band of seven are exceptionally talented and have a chemistry that catches fire, with a bluesy/rock vibe, great vocals, and outstanding musicianship.

Devon Allman, son of Gregg Allman founder and keyboardist of the Allman Brothers Band, arranged a concert in 2017 in memory of his father. and the Allman Brothers Band. Duane Betts, son of Dicky Betts, founding Allman Brothers guitarist and singer, played at that event and an idea was born. Both musicians have strong solo careers as performers and songwriters. By 2019, they had written songs they wanted to record, pulled in other musicians and recorded "Down to the River"

In addition to Devon Allman and Duane Betts, the Allman Betts Band includes bassist Berry Duane Oakley (son of late Allman Brothers bassist Berry Oakley), Johnny Stachela on guitar and vocals, John Ginty on keyboards, R. Scott Bryan on percussion and vocals, and John Lum on drums. These seven men, these brothers in music, honor their past and create music for today and the future.
