Ancient Dunes Trail Hike

Anastasia State Park will host an Ancient Dunes Trail Hike on Tuesday, June 5, 2018, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.
Led by a volunteer, this guided hike through the various ecosystems of Anastasia State Park, including the ancient dune system and the maritime hammocks, is just a mile long, but is one of the more demanding trails in the park due to the sloping landscape.
Guests are encouraged to bring binoculars, comfortable walking shoes, a camera, drinking water, bug spray, and sunscreen. The tour will meet at the Hilltop Picnic Area near the parking lot.
Admission: Free with park admission: $8.00 per vehicle (limit 8 people), $4.00 per single-occupant vehicle, and $2.00 for pedestrians, bicyclists, and extra passengers.
When: From 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 22, 2018. This event is weather permitting and subject to cancellation.
