Apex Theatre Studio presents the hit Disney musical Newsies with four performances live on stage at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall from Friday, July 20, to Sunday, July 22, 2018.

Newsies tells the story of a boisterous group of newspaper boys who took on the mighty publishing magnate Joseph Pulitzer during the Newsboys Strike in 1899. It was one of the first successful protests against the treatment of child laborers at the turn of the century.

The production will be directed and choreographed by David Loudermilk and will feature New York-based guest artist Tony LaLonde. A company of talented young artists from eight area schools as well as performers from the Apex Visiting Young Artists program will round out the cast and crew.

Admission: Tickets for general reserved seating are $25 per person.

When: Performances will take place at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 20; at 2:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 21, and at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 22, 2018. The Concert Hall doors open half an hour prior to show time.

Where: The Ponte Vedra Concert Hall is located at 1050 A1A North in Ponte Vedra Beach.

Parking Information: Parking is available onsite for a $5 parking fee.
