Please Note: This event is from 2017

The Apex Theatre Studio is bringing back their fast-paced comedy, "The Complete Works of William Shakespeare Abridged," at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall, with two performances on Saturday, and Sunday, November 24 and 25, 2017. The productions will start at 8:00 p.m., preceded by an opening set by the band Folk Is People at 7:30 p.m.

This hilarious stage production features three performers (wearing Elizabethan dress and sneakers) romping through all 37 Shakespeare plays at a breakneck pace. The show premiered in London and has become the city's longest-running comedy on stage. The Today Show comments, "If you like Shakespeare, you'll love this show. If you hate Shakespeare, you'll love this show."

The performers in this production of "The Complete Works of William Shakespeare Abridged" are all members of Apex Threatre Studio's teaching faculty, Jason Nettle, Emily Auwaerter and Robert Reid. "We feel it's important for our students to have the opportunity to watch their mentors in action," comments Apex Managing Director Iain Mairs. "This show is a riot and all three of these performers bring their considerable comedy chops into the rehearsal hall."

Apex Theatre is a non-profit theater education center where students ages 14-21 hone their crafts as artists. For more information about Apex Theatre, please visit here. For more information about this event, click here.
