Apex Theatre Studio: Shake, Rattle, and Roll

Apex Theatre Studio will mark their fifth anniversary with a dinner-and-dancing fundraiser, "Shake, Rattle and Roll: A 50s Style Bash," at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall on Saturday, June 16, 2018.

This fundraiser and dancing exhibition will feature ballroom dancing performances by guest artists and Apex faculty and board members, along with delicious 1950s diner fare from St. Augustine Chef Stephen DiMare of The Hyppo and tunes by DJ Marlon Sulph.

"Last year's '80s themed dance was a big hit with our Ponte Vedra residents. We were amazed at the turnout," remarked Ian Mairs, managing director of Apex Theatre Studio. "We plan on tackling a different decade every summer and the fabulous music of the '50s is a natural choice. Not to mention the cheeseburgers, tater tots and milk shakes compliments of food wizard, Stephen DiMare, which are a part of a Florida summer for anyone," Mairs added.

Cocktails begin at 6:30 p.m. followed by an authentic '50s diner meal at 7:30. The dance exhibition will begin at 7:30 p.m., with the dance floor opening up to guests at 8:30 p.m.

Admission: General admission donations are $75.00 per person for dinner and dance, $130 per couple for dinner and dance, and $40.00 per person for dance only tickets.

When: At 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 16, 2018, at 6:30 p.m. Doors open at 6:00 p.m.

Where: The Ponte Vedra Concert Hall is located at 1050 A1A North in Ponte Vedra Beach.
