Ask A Ranger: Camping Edition

This Ask a Ranger program will answer all your questions about outdoor camping in Florida state parks.

Please Note: This event is from 2019

Anastasia State Park offers a free Ask a Ranger program that discusses everything you need to know about camping in Florida state parks on Saturday, March 23, 2019.

This program is led by Ranger Greg and covers all the questions a prospective camper might want to know: where to camp in a tent and where to park an RV, how to set up a tent, the necessities a camper should always bring (including ingredients for s'mores and how to make them), and where some of the finest camping accommodations can be found.

The whole family will have a chance to learn about setting up a campsite and also to see some of Ranger Greg's camping gear.

Admission: The Ask a Ranger: Camping Edition program is free with regular park admission: $8.00 per vehicle with up to 8 people, $4,00 per vehicle with one occupant, and $2.00 for pedestrians/bicyclists.
