Backyard Block Party

Protomartyr, Spray Paint, and UV-TV come to St. Augustine for a party at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre.

Please Note: This event is from 2016

On Friday, February 19, 2016, St. Augustine Amphitheatre and Commoditie Booking present the St. Augustine Amphitheatre Backyard Block Party. The concert features Detroit post-punk band Protomartyr, with Texas punk trio Spray Paint, and Gainesville's UV-TV.

Touring in support of their third album, "The Agent Intellect," Protomartyr displays raw but heady aggression. Their music is loud, but the philosophies they explore are sound. They're joined at the Block Party by Spray Paint, a three-piece punk band that eschews having a bass player for two crunchy guitars and skull pounding drums. UV-TV from Gainesville will begin the festivities, which in addition to music, will include plenty of food and beverages.
