The nightmare of the Big Brother Society comes to life in A Classic Theatre’s stage production of George Orwell’s 1984.

A Classic Theatre will present George Orwell's 1984 on stage at the Lincolnville Museum and Cultural Center in St. Augustine with six performances on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, from October 26 through November 4, 2018.

Based on George Orwell's iconic and timely novel, this production of 1984 is a provocative adaptation for the stage, capturing all the feelings of paranoia, anger, and brutality that are so central to the novel. Margaret Kaler will direct a talented cast, including Jon Beshara, Kathryn Masters, Jennifer Latka, Guy Tillis, Katie Timoney, Natalie Beltrami, Shari Little, David Williams, and Shelby Roy.

Performances will be on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday October 26, 27, and 28, and November 2, 3, and 4. Friday and Saturday show times are 7:30 p.m., and the Sunday matinee will be at 2:00 p.m.
