A Classic Theatre presents Silent Sky, a warm drama about Henrietta Leavitt, an astronomer who began working at the Harvard Observatory in the early 1900s.

Written by Lauren Gunderson, Silent Sky has been called "a mesmerizing drama that's full of wonder, humor, and heart." Because she was a woman, Henrietta Leavitt was not allowed to touch a telescope when she started her career. This play explores the theme of women in society and how Leavitt's work changed our understanding of the world and the sky.
