The St. Augustine Amphitheatre presents critically-acclaimed Grateful Dead tribute act, Dark Star Orchestra, live in concert on Friday, December 11, 2020.
Dark Star Orchestra has been the preeminent Grateful Dead tribute band for over 20 years. They have performed in 2,600 re-creations of Grateful Dead shows, with what The New Yorker describes as “flashback-inducing meticulousness.”
The overall experience of a Dark Star Orchestra show captures the energy and experience as well as the sound of a Grateful Dead concert. Some of their shows are based on a set list from the Grateful Dead’s 30 years of touring, while others use the Dead’s catalog to program a unique set list for that show.
