Derek Coghlan, a local educator, Shakespearean actor, and storyteller, relates tales and tall tales about small-town life in Ireland and Florida. He will present his new one-man show at the St. Augustine Waterworks on Friday and Saturday, April 5 and 6, 2024, at 8:00 p.m.

Having grown up in a small town in Ireland and moved from there to a small town in Florida, Derek has a unique perspective on what makes small towns both special and maddening. Learn and laugh about small towns and local heroes. And perhaps you'll learn why a photo of Derek and another man standing on a hill was sent to promote the event.

In addition to teaching, acting, and organizing local Pecha Kucha events, Derek has frequently written and performed his one-man shows at local venues.

Admission: $25.00. Go here to purchase tickets.

When: Friday, April 5, and Saturday, April 6, at 8:00 p.m.
