Cafe Eleven presents The Dirty Grass Players and Shadowgrass in their listening room on Thursday, November 9, 2023, at 8:00 p.m.

Alex Berman (on banjo), Ben Kolakowski (on guitar), Connor Murray (on bass), and Ryan Rogers (on mandolin) make up the band The Dirty Grass Players. Bluegrass, rock, and country are infused into each arrangement, providing an authentic story ripped from the heart of the Deep South.

Sirens, Beneath the Woodpile, and their most recent album, Shiny Side Up have received positive reviews from Glide Magazine and Bluegrass Unlimited.

Award-winning musicians Clay Russell, David George, Madison Morris, and Kyser George make up the band Shadow Grass.

Immersing themselves in classic bluegrass music and welcoming its conventional style, Shadow Grass has appeared at The Blue Ridge Music Center and Silver Dollar City. The "Today Show with Al Roker" also embraced the band and recognized their fresh and spirited sound.
