Dolphin Paddle on Salt Run
Take a paddle along Anastasia State Park's Salt Run and learn more about the flora and fauna of the estuary.
Anastasia State Park, in partnership with Anastasia Watersports and Marineland Dolphin Adventure, will host a Dolphin Paddle on Salt Run on two Saturdays in August 2019: August 3 and 17, from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m.
The estuarine marsh at Anastasia State Park is ripe with plant and animal life. This interpretive tour will feature in-depth information about wildlife and fascinating facts about dolphins. The event will start with 30 minutes in the classroom, followed by 90 minutes of paddling.
Admission: The program is $40.00 per person, which includes boat rental, or $25.00 per person for those who provide their own boat. Park admission rates apply: $8.00 per vehicle (limit 8 people), $4.00 per single-occupant vehicle, and $2.00 for pedestrians, bicyclists, and extra passengers.
