The Northeast Florida Marlin Club presents the El Pescado Billfish Tournament at Camachee Cove Marina from Tuesday through Saturday, November 3 through 7, 2026. Conceived as a marlin tournament in 1988, El Pescado is an open tournament and has evolved its rules to include Blue and White Marlin, while also embracing the fall sailfish migration.
The Tournament
The tournament kicks off with a Captains Meeting at 6:00 p.m. on November 3, 2026, at the Northeast Florida Marlin Association Club House, Camachee Cove Marina.
Captains may choose to fish on two of the four eligible days: November 4, 5, 6, or 7.
The General Entry fee is $1,500 before October 31, 2026, and increases to $1,750 on November 1. Payouts are based on 30 boats. The tournament features several optional entry categories:
- Daily TWT: $5,000 entry per day, with a Winner-Takes-All prize of $75,000, day.
- Meat Fish: $500 entry per species (Wahoo, Dolphin, Tuna), with $15,000 allocated for each species.
- Under 40’ / Outboard TWT: $1,000 entry, with a $30,000 payout (structure dependent on the number of boats entered).
- Overall TWT: $3,000 entry, with payouts of $54,000 for first place, $27,000 for second place, and $9,000 for third place.
Event Details
Registration: Register online for $1,500 before October 31, 2026, when the entry fee increases to $1,750.
When: Choose to fish any two days, from November 4 through 7, 2026. The Captains Meeting is on November 3, 2026, at 6:00 p.m.
