Elvis Costello & The Impostors
Friday, November 8, 2019, at 8:00 p.m. at St. Augustine Amphitheatre
The Amp St. Augustine presents legendary Grammy award-winning singer-songwriter Elvis Costello & The Impostors live in concert on their "Just Trust 2019 Tour" on Friday, November 8, 2019.
Elvis Costello's amazing career began in 1977 with the release of My Aim Is True. He followed that up in 1988 with Painted from Memory, which contained the first of more than 30 songs he composed in partnership with Burt Bacharach. As his career continued, Costello Costello partnered with many talented musicians, appearing along with Deborah Harry with composer/poet Roy Nathanson and the Jazz Passengers in concert and on the recordings "Individually Twisted" and "Fire at Keaton's Bar and Grill" in the '90s. The 2017 box-set re-issue of Paul McCartney's Flowers in the Dirt included 15 demo duet recordings made by McCartney and Costello.
