
First Coast Opera: The Trial of B.B. Wolf
As part of the Romanza Festivale of Music and the Arts, St. Augustine's First Coast Opera presents the musical satire, The Trial of B.B. Wolf, at the Ancient City Baptist Church on Thursday, May 9, 2019. There will be two showings —from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. and again from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.
First Coast Opera Artistic Director Curtis Tucker composed this one-act family opera that puts the Big Bad Wolf on the witness stand to account for some of the mischief he's caused in his career, including destroying the property of the Three Little Pigs and murdering Little Red Riding Hood's grandmother. Ultimately, B.B. Wolf's fate is decided by a jury selected from the audience.
